An initiative called "beyondblue" was launched in New Zealand and quickly partnered with The Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand. Small groups were started in the United Kingdom and the Movember Foundation soon realized that they could have an international presence. In 2007, the four original co-founders decided to do just that. One of each moved to Los Angeles, Canada and the United Kingdom and one ran the Australian and New Zealand campaign. Another small group started in Spain. For the first time, the Movember Board was formally extended beyond the original founders.

In 2007, over 134,000 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas throughout Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the UK and Spain raised AUD 21.5 million and raised a ton of awareness for issues relating to men's health.

After the first years, the movement has continued to grow at a rapid rate. The Movember Foundation is now active in twenty-one countries and has raised more than AUD 730 million to fund more than a thousand men's health programs. From prostate cancer and depression they have expanded their fundraising efforts to testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity. Millions of men have grown moustaches and beards in support and the awareness has led to important scientific breakthroughs and has helped start and fuel a conversation related to issue's of men's health.

What started as a friendly conversation between friends over beers has become a massive movement, as they say, toward their vision: "to have an everlasting impact on the face of men's health.
