“There is nothing to write about, you say.  Well then, write and let me know just this- that there is nothing to write about…”   Pliny the Younger

In these days of email and text messaging, writing a letter or note by hand can seem hopelessly outdated.  But it isn’t; letter writing is an art form that should not be replaced. The writing and reception of letters will always offer an experience that modern technology cannot touch.  Opening a mailbox and finding a birthday card or thank you note that someone actually took the time to write is special. Let’s be honest, it does not take a lot of thought or effort to type "Happy Birthday" or "Thank you" on someone’s Facebook page.  So go and pick out a pretty birthday card for your Aunt, and have your child write proper thank you notes to all her friends that attended her birthday party.
