May is right around the corner, but we have some pretty exciting events to wrap up April! Here’s the rundown this week - let’s enjoy the last days of April!


Monday, 4/23: Start your week of with with some relaxing yoga poses, and meditative breathing! Hatha Flow Yoga of New Providence has a yoga practice from 11am-12pm located at 18 South Street on the 2nd Floor! For more information, visit: www.tapinto.net

Tuesday, 4/24: At 7:30pm, The Summit Free Public Library is hosting “The Landmark Trees of Summit,” which is a presentation on the growth of the trees in our community! This Arbor Day presentation and celebration is located at 75 Maple Street in Summit. For more information, visit: patch.com

Wednesday, 4/25: Are you interested in keeping your yard/garden blooming and tidy this spring, and summer season? Reeves Reed Arboretum is hosting a “Weed or Wildflower?” where you can learn some tips on how to determine if you have pestering weeds, or wonderful flowers growing around your home! Thursday, 4/26: Wind down your week with some stand up comedy in Livingston at 7pm! This event is located at 300 East Northfield Road, and is at the entrance on E Cedar Street. For more information, visit: patch.com

Friday, 4/27: At 6pm the Millburn Fire Headquarters is hosting a “Battle of the Badges Cook-off!” This is a fun family friendly event where you can witness the Firefighters and Police officers battle in a culinary challenge. Saturday, 4/28: The Paper Source of Summit is hosting a “Silhouette Portrait” workshop from 11am-1pm! This workshop is $30 per person, and is located at 359 Springfield Ave, in Summit. For more information and other Paper Source events, visit: www.papersource.com

Sunday, 4/29: The event we’ve all been waiting for is here! The Summit Winter Farmers started this month, and will continue every Sunday from 8am-1pm.
