There are a ton of family friendly events this week, especially for Father's Day. Here's your weekly roundup, full of diverse events!
Mon, 6/11: From 9am-12:30pm your child (ages 3-5) can join in on the fun at the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum! You have the option to sign your child up for just one fun day, or a week of environmental education, play, games, and more. Registration is required. Tue, 6/12: Get your groove on at a Latin inspired Zumba class! Tuesday’s class runs from 6:30pm-7:30pm and is located at 18 South Street on the 2nd floor (Providence Health and Fitness). Wed, 6/13: The Livingston Public Library presents a movie time for a classic: Lust For Life. Lust For Life is based off of Vincent Van Gogh, an artistic mastermind, and portrays his life in all of the things he went through. Thu, 6/14: If you’re interested in fashion, and taking care of our planet, this event is perfect for you! Reeves Reed Arboretum is hosting “Style & Sustainability - A Fashion Show in the Garden.” This fashion show is completely free, and will feature ethical fashion! Fri, 6/15: Enjoy a taste of wonderful tunes by Bobby Valli. Bobby Valli is a singer from Newark, NJ, and is recreating the amazing rock-and-roll sounds from his hall of famer brother, Frankie Valli. Sat, 6/16: New Jersey is full of young visionaries, and Montclair is hosting an event to represent them! The NJ Visionaries Film Festival is featuring and promoting young artists that are 18 years old or younger for their talents. Sun, 6/17: The Cora Hartshorn Arboretum invites families to hike with their fathers for Father’s Day at 11am.
