Summer is made for outdoor festivals, music, play, and more! We are excited for summer to start, and there are a bunch of summer related activities to enjoy this week. Here's your weekly roundup!


Mon, 6/18: Stop by the Livingston Public Library to watch a movie at 1:30pm! Their movie Monday is featuring The Glass Castle, a film about real world family struggles, and a bit of imagination. The Livingston Public Library is located at 10 Robert Harp Drive. For more information, click here.

Tue, 6/19: Expressing yourself is important, and the Memoir Writing Class at the Millburn Library will help you let creativity flow through you. This class is going to have exercises, unexpected and interesting directions, and more. The class is completely free and begins at 6:30pm. Millburn Public Library is located at 200 Glen Avenue. Wed, 6/20: From June 20th through August 31st, you can bring your children (ages 3-14) to the New York Sports Club for swimming, crafts, lunches, parties, and more! Thu, 6/21: At last! It’s summer time!! Celebrate the start of summer with Greenwood Gardens invites all to bring picnic materials, and relax on the main lawn. This is an all day celebration (from 10am to 6pm), and Greenwood Gardens is located at 274 Old Short Hills Road in Short Hills. For more information and pricing, click here.

Fri, 6/22: With the warm weather, and July right around the corner, it is the perfect season to go camping. At 6pm, Reeves Reed Arboretum is inviting all families to experience a night of nature while camping at the Arboretum. Reeves Reed Arboretum is located at 165 Hobart Avenue in Summit. Sat, 6/23: Bees are a very significance part of nature, and you can learn all about why at Bee Day! Hanson Park in Cranford is hosting an informational and fun session, where you can learn all about the importance of bees. This story time and craft session begins at 2pm, and is located at 38 Springfield Avenue. For more information, click here.

Sun, 6/24: Enjoy live music at Studio Yoga in Madison with Henry Nerenberg! Nerenberg will be playing wonderful acoustic tunes for the Green Light Music Series. Studio Yoga is located at 2 Green Village Road, 215 in Madison, and the intimate and relaxing performance begins at 4pm. For more information, click here.
