Mon, 6/25: At 8:30am the Fundamentals Sports Camp of Short Hills begins! Campers ages 5-13 can experience character building, learn the concepts of games/sports, and use the skills that are learned to be applied to all aspects of their life! The camp dates run between June 25th and July 27th, and it is located at 52 Great Hill Road. For more information, click here.
Tue, 6/26: Stimulate your mind by meeting Deb Amlen, columnist and editor of The New York Times Crossword puzzle section. She believes in enough pressure to solve these puzzles, and her mindset of problem solving can leak into other real life problems aside of puzzles. At 7pm she will improve your mental flexibility, and make you think! This meeting is located at the Long Hill Township Library on 917 Valley Road in Gillette. For more information, click here.
Wed, 6/27: Reeves Reed Arboretum is hosting the NJ Dance Theatre Ensemble as they present to you INKUBATE. This is a wonderful dance performance that can be enjoyed from the comfort of a picnic setting at Reeves Reed Arboretum. The show will begin at 7pm, but you can set up your picnic area starting at 6pm. This event is located at 165 Hobart Avenue in Summit. For more information, click here.
Thu, 6/28: Drop off your precious young ones (ages 3-9) to New Providence’s My Gym at 1:30pm for a fun summer camp day! If you’re having a busy work day, and your child is bored of doing the same thing all summer, this camp is perfect for them. Fri, 6/29: Workouts don’t always have to physically challenging. Stop by the Summit YMCA at 12:30pm to challenge your mind by engaging in a game of mahjong! Mahjong is a tile game played with 4 players, and it will stimulate your brain with skills, calculations, and strategic techniques. The Summit YMCA is located at 67 Maple Street. Sat, 6/30: Bright and early at 8:30am, The Market At South Street in Morristown is inviting businesses to exhibit their products to the community! All proceeds at this market event will go to the Sunshine Kids Foundation. This garage sale business market street is located at the 264 South Street Parking Lot. For more information, click here.
Sun, 7/1: Start your month off with mindfulness and concentration. Providence Health and Fitness will be having a Tai Chi Chuan class between 9:30am and 10:45 am to help all that are interested in balance, slow movements, and creating energy through your body.
